Value of Statement in the Australian Federal Police
Value of a statement is the affirmation to consumers and employees of an organization about a company top precedence and the core values. Among these values is honesty that is demonstrated through sincerity and truthfulness. The federal police portrays this value by ensuring that the public are aware of the activities undertaken by the police and that they are legal. In addition to, that federal police treats the community and the employees with respect and consideration.
The federal police strategic plan is also aimed for quality performance and services to be delivered to people. The Australian Federal police plan has set up policies that will give the public awareness of their services. The main aim of the statement of value is to be able to provide feedback from the public to the federal police services and to provide knowledge of the predicaments facing the Australian citizens
In addition to that, value the statement gives the community confidence in times of need that the citizens should approach when they need assistance from the police. Australian federal police, for instance, is composed of virtual crime, organized misdemeanor, and global operations that provide scrutinized wide capacity of crimes related to the commonwealth.
The main aim of this organization is to counteract and dismantle severe and organized crimes that are a threat to the Australian citizens. The public is also in a position to know which department, they can visit when they have a problem. Value statement therefore, acts as an agent between the government and the public. The public gets to know what to expect from the federal police and what should not be there.
Justice and accountability.
Abu Dhabi strategic plan 2012-2016 aimed at harmonizing the community entities roles and efforts in Abu Dhabi aligned with the vision, mission, and values. The Australian federal police on the other hand came up with the seven values that will help achieve the strategic plan 2015-2019.In respect to this the value of fairness is and accountability are the most appropriate values that will help in achieving community confidence in policing.
The Australian federal police should ensure fairness when dealing with public matters this enables the public to trust the police. No citizen should be punished by the police without being proven guilty by the court. Moreover, every employee in the federal police should be accountable for the outcome of the work done and accountable for their actions. If the two values work in hand, then the public will be in a position to trust the police
Factors Influencing the Operating Environment
There are various factors affecting the operating system in the federal police. Some of these factors serve as a link between the community and the police, what exactly the community expects from the police services and the community response towards the services being offered to them. This factor includes weakness of the laid strategic plan and the weakness on both sides from the community and how the federal police are working towards achieving the mission stated in the plan.
PESTLED Analysis
Social-Cultural Factors
This includes the habits of people`s attitudes and religion. All these factors have general effects on the police. With the laid strategic plan social –cultural factors can affect the federal police both positively and negatively while undertaking their task. One of the key factors associated with social –cultural factor is domestic violence. Domestic violence in most cases involves people who have a close relationship. This violence’s may be financial, sexual, and physical violence.

Abu Dhabi strategic plan tackled the social -cultural problems by employing qualified staff capable of handling all problems related to the police profession. Australian federal police strategic plan will be able to solve these predicaments by looking into the purpose of the strategic plan of preventing disruption of investigation of crimes. The federal police ensures that those criminal gangs are disrupted and their operations prevented .
Technological factors
The community of today has risen to a new era of technologies. Although the technology has been of help to the police by giving immediate feedback there are still cases where creative minds are stealing from the business organization by hacking their websites and password. Crimes are being committed without the knowledge of the people. Due to this, the members are adopting ting new and advanced methods to deal with crimes. The technologies are used for a wide range in solving problems related to the police and giving important information that facilitates investigation.
Political factors
In most of the cases terrorism is associated with politics and Australia has not been left behind laws passed by the government can be directed to terrorism but in most cases are invasive to enhance the state. Benefits incurred from commiting a crime if they have more costs individuals then parcipate in unlawful activities. On the other hand individuals who are not employed tend to low self-esttem and loss their self-personality leading to isolation and support from their family members. The group therefore is placed with the responsibility of addressing the government in order to reduce the rate of unemployment. The strategic plan cannot be successfully achieved if the government does not address the issue of unemployment this is a future problem that is likely to happen
Demographic
The population is ageing in Australia, this means there will be fewer employees to take care of the young dependants and retirees. Australia population continues to grow, but in a very slow rate compared to the ancient times. This will eventually add more pressure to financial growth that facilitates the living standards of people. In addition to that, elderly population later result of economic pressures that is from high demand for state services and increasing health charges.
