Effects Of Brain Implant To The Society
Write an essay whose topic is Brain Implant (chips and probes)
My part is to answer Question 4 and 5 only.
4. What are (1) the global and (2) the local impacts of potential solutions
on individuals, organizations and society? (150 Words)
5. What recommendations would you propose that will lead to potential
solutions? (150 Words)

4. What are (1) the global and (2) the local impacts of potential solutions on individuals,
organizations and society
Brain implant has a lot of impact both at the global and local scenes. In the global scene,
there is a likelihood of improved medical solutions through brain stimulation by use of electronic
signals whereby artificial devices are implanted in parts of the human body with utmost
consideration of the immune system. This indicates that through the brain implants, the medical
boost is going to receive a major breakthrough as a host of medical solutions with unique
abilities is going to be realised (Maguire and McGee, n.d). The global military is also set to get a
boost from the brain implants as a result of making retinal implants to restore low level vision
caused by genetic functions. Enhanced night vision is also another investment to the global
military.
In the local scene, brain implant presents the various solutions starting with the restoring
of lost memories. This is possible through zapping of the brain with electric simulations that are
controlled. In this case, an implant of a piece of technology in the brain to trigger electric pulses
is done and this can boost one's memory by over 30% (Dodgson, 2017). The general impacts of
such possibilities through brain implant is a possible health solutions for individuals, enhanced
production organizations and simplified life to the entire society through the introduction of
many brain implants possibilities.
5. Recommendations that will lead to potential solutions
Brain implant is relatively a new technology is the mindset of many people. There is need
to do a public sensitization so that more and more people can harness the abilities presented by
brain implant. There is also need for more volunteers who should be voluntarily fitted with brain

implants with the aim of learning more on the abilities of brain implants. Most of the brain
implant procedures are invasive. In this case I recommend scientists to make implant devices that
are less invasive, a procedure that will vastly expand the range of contact points in the brain to
support more artificial systems. Brain implant has largely been used for medical procedures, but
we need to ask ourselves if there is a possibility of using this technology to improve other
aspects of general human life such as in the industrial processes. This implies that scientists
should research and diversify the use of brain implants in other human abilities and not limited to
health conditions only.
